Mumbai Terrorist Attack

Posted by oniger on 29 Nov 2008 | Tagged as: Personalities

We could not imagine how these terrorists people could handle impose such terror to their kind.  They are also humans but the way they think seems to far from any of the human logical thinking abilities.

Mumbai or India, the way I’ve learned it, is a religious country with peace loving people.  I could not imagine they were attack by such terror.  Most if not all the people of the human race are thinking on how to progress their present statuses in life.  I couldn’t think how these terrorist people could think on making progress by killing other persons.

Why these people are imposing such terror to their kind? Is it by ideals? Is is for money? Are these people being paid by such millionaires?  Who has the capacity to do so?

Which is which, these terrorists people should be located and jailed or should be sentenced to lifetime imprisonment if not by lethal injection.  I am sure this will also be the wish of  those families who’ve lost a loved one.

Pacquiao vs. DeLa Hoya

After the US election which has been watched worldwide, the next event that will again rock the world will be the Pacquiao vs. De La Hoya fight on December 6.  Though this is not a title bout, the popularity of both fighters will surely make the dome with rumbling and shouting supporters.

The height of De La Hoya will be his advantage, but rumors say that if De La Hoya could not make it on the first 1 - 6 round he will loss this fight because Pacquiao has proven stamina up to the last round.  On the other hand, Pacquiao should be careful on the firsts rounds because De Lo Hoya is not only a good fighter but he has the ability to knock down his opponent.

Both fighter are good and professional and for sure they have studied both moves already.  Pacquiao is noted for his fast movements while De La Hoya is not.

Who knows, who will win this non-title bout.   Let us wait and see.

Temptation Island

While clicking the remote, I accidentally arrive at survival reality TV show, it is not the survival itself but is almost the same with its concept.  The only different is that the participants are singles because most of the scenes presented is all about discovering the right partner via a date in the wilderness or some place suitable for a set.

This reality TV show is intitled “Temptation Island” and I was attracted to scenario first, but later discovered it was a challenge for all the participant to do what is actually instructed them to do.  As I said, it was an accident and I did not get even the names of the host there. lol

This show is interesting not only just because it is a reality show but the part that interest me most is that the set up is to make the partners comfortable with each other, build bonding moments to be cherished later.  After this, the relationship that has been build will then be tested with, tempting the other partner to reject the first.

Since this is a competition, it is not only the critical thinking of the participants are being tested but also their emotional aspects.  Just like what had happen a while ago.  The way the other lady reacted that she was assuming to be chosen by the guy she became close with, but suddenly the the guy did not choose her.

It is a good show actually, especially for singles who are still looking for a date or even a partner in life.  For this, I would like to recommend this show to be watched by singles of both sexes.  “Temptation Island” is nice reality TV show.

Mobile Phone Message Alerts

Posted by oniger on 02 Nov 2008 | Tagged as: Transportation & Communication

How many message alerts you are receiving in a day?  I have subscribe to one of mobile network here and every time I reload, I receive message alerts or text message coming form the network provider offering products and services.  The worst thing here is that you are entitles to turn off these messages by texting or replying the sender and you’ll be charge in again that matter.

Okay, so your turn off the message alerts.  The next time you reload again, again you will be sent with the same messages.  not to mention that they are also offering logos of such kind which I think, out of the 25k subscribers, only 1% of these is interested to the logo and hey, this is not free.  The charge is higher compared to the normal text messaging.

I could not disclose the network here, but I you know which network is doing this.  Are those networks doing such thing?

I could say that type of marketing is compared to opt in list in the internet business marketing industry.  Emails are being collected here and then later, the email collector will then market his or her products or services by sending sales letter via email.  This is also some sort of spamming, not only that email will be sent to spam box, but the message itself most of the time is disgusting.

Mass text messaging, on the other hand, is almost the same with this internet business advertising.  Though the subscriber has all the rights to choose,  this type of advertisement should be minimized if not totally stopped.  These networks are making advertisements the same on what is being done on TV advertisements. Mobile phone is far different from TV.

The ironic part here is that even those who are not interested with the products or services will be subjected to pay by replying “ALERT OFF”.
